My name is Cate and I am currently a senior in high school. I am 17 and still have many years to figure out what I want to be and who I am going to become. In the past I have had wonderings about how I fit into this world and how I differ from the other 7.8 billion people. These are questions that some people do not even know until they are 70 because there is much depth to it. One day while I was flipping through my history textbook I stumbled upon a section titled “Anthropology.” Now, the first thought that popped up in my brain was the store that every teenage girl goes to for room decorations, but after reading a few pages I realized these are two different things. I looked into anthropology more and figured out that it is the study of human behavior, but also an outlet to ask questions, step out of comfort zones, and understand who we all are as people. I knew that I wanted to dig deeper into this subject. I am ready to learn. I am ready to ask questions. I wanted to make this blog to document any conceptions I construct while studying Anthropology. I will be making connections to my personal life, but also to the outside world. So, come along with me on this journey and let’s dig deep into the world of human behavior.
